Many people who come across the above title that I have typed, must have thought that it is a "typo error", and that it should be 'forgive AND forget'.
But, the truth is, not everyone can do it. In fact, it is extremely hard to forgive someone especially when he or she has inflicted the pain on you of such an intensity that it can never seemed to be eased.
So what I have figured out is, a better way to make ourselves happy. That is, you either choose to Forgive OR Forget.
Which one works better for you?
1. For those who choose to 'FORGIVE', most likely the issues are minor.
For example, when people start calling you names, you feel the anger inside as if you are going to explode at any time. However, after sometime you might just tell yourself that the person who did that is just an immature innocent kid, so it probably won't bother you anymore.
2. For those who choose to 'FORGET', most likely it involves major issues which have a negative impact on you. Since it has got to do with major issues, then I guess it is not possible to forgive. It's simply too hard. So what you need to do, is just to forget about it and carry on with the beautiful stuff in life. Look at what nature has to offer.
P.S: A good night's rest definitely helps a person to 'FORGET' all those unhappy happenings. So 'forgive or forget' or 'forgive and forget'? It's up to you to decide which method works best on you.

First step to happiness: Being thankful
I have come up with the three major steps to happiness. Here's the first one: Being thankful.
In our everyday life, even the smallest things can upset us. Such as losing a game of online reversi.
While for many of my friends, they often get upset over problems with school. Some have trouble dealing with their classmates or maintaining a good relationship with the whole class, while others are struggling with their schoolwork.
I experience that too! How do i deal with it?
The answer is simple, by being thankful.
The next time when you find yourself getting stressed up and unhappy due to the tons of assignments being thrown infront of you, think about those kids living in small villages with no access to clean water, fresh foods, and let alone books and classrooms.
When you are rushing for your assignments because the deadlines are approaching, what are those kids doing? Struggling to survive in the harsh conditions, helping out in the fields, praying that they get a chance to attend school and gain more knowledge.
When you have trouble dealing with your classmates, think of the kids again. Do they get to attend schools and even have classmates? They don't. They might have playmates, but definitely not have friends whom all of them can get together and gain some knowledege through attending classes.
Be thankful for what you have, is the key to happiness.
